Job objective: To provide materials, equipment and supplies by directing receiving, warehouse and distribution services and supervising staff and time management.
-Prefer 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory, delivery and supervisory management expierience.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work within deadlines
-Exceptional organizational, time- management, reporting, planning and analyzing skills.
-Experience with Microsoft Office package.
-Advanced written and spoken (English) communication and administrative skills
-Ability to lift 15-30 pounds repeatedly and 70 pounds occasionally.
-Possess and maintain an active drivers license, a clean driving record and ability to maintain a DOT Health card.
-Experience in loading, undloading and load securement of various materials and equipment on trucks and trailers.
-Significant talking, hearing, typing on a keyboard, standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling and close vision required. -Generally maintains office hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Maintain receiving, warehouse and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, operational and personnel policies and procedures including truck stock and inventory.
-Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements. Enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on needed actions.
-Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocals.
-Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems.
-Maintain physical condition and appearance of warehouse by inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
-Load/unload machinery/ equipment as needed for delivery, shipping and receiving purposes.
-Achieve financial objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
-Have the ability to handle multiple projects and employees at the same time.
-Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on results.
-Manage inventory in and out along with product deliveries to ensure they are meeting scheduled deadlines.
-Maintain complete and accurate files, secure and prevent access to confidential company information.
-Have a complete understanding of our products, vendors and alternate suppliers. Analyze product stock and negotiate best price and delivery from suppliers.
-Provide excellent communication with the controller, department managers, general contractors and subcontractors and employees.
-Maintain warehouse staff results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
-Recognize and take corrective action when liabilities are identified.
